Matthew Bucchino, Ph.D.
Founder & Principal Chemist
Dr. Bucchino is a Ph.D. chemist specializing in polymer, adhesive, coating, and elastomer systems. His experience spans analytical characterization, root cause investigations, reverse engineering, contamination analysis, and technical problem solving across a wide range of applications.
He created ClearRoot Materials to provide manufacturers, engineering teams, and technical professionals with independent, unbiased support that bridges the gap between complex laboratory data and practical engineering decisions.
Outside of work, he enjoys powerlifting, endurance challenges, and exploring the outdoors with his wife. He brings that same discipline and persistence to every client engagement.
